Meet Hop and Falco!
Hop and Falco have been together since, basically, forever! Despite being a pegasus pony, Falco has been adopted by Hop’s family when he was just a foal – they found him all alone during a rainstorm – and Hop had always loved him as if he was her real younger brother.
They both inherited the little brewery from their parents and already had plans for it. They reopened it as a brew-pub under the name Hop’s Nest, and while at first only a few local griffons stuck around, word eventually spread and other creatures from further away started to visit.
Falco’s idea to play live music at some evenings brought even more visitors and they came up with a new plan: hosting a big party every other year, with different themes and special guests!
And that’s how Hop’s Featherfest was made!
Hop and Falco also consider hiring a waiter to support their growing business…
Hop (she/her)
Hop is a female griffon with heterochromia (different eye colors) and wears some hop flowers on her head that go well with the white ear-like feathers. She learned the art of brewing beer from her parents and has since created her own flavors (like Hop’s Featherbrew).
Aside from running the brew-pub and planning parties every year she really likes traditional art, especially creating oil paintings herself.

Falco (he/him)
Falco is a male pegasus pony and was raised in a griffon family as the younger brother of Hop. He wraps his tail to look more griffon-like, and wears a necklace with a fake beak. He does have a cutie mark but keeps it hidden.
When he’s not singing or writing new songs, he works at the brew-pub’s bar. He also shares the passion for visual art, like painting, with Hop.
Falco has been drawn by a few artists and the community voted for Balychen’s work in 2024, which became his design reference.
